Michelle Mone has revealed she is keen to replace James Caan on Dragons' Den.
Just days after Caan announced he would no longer be continuing on the panel of the BBC show, which sees five moguls debating over whether to invest in various business ideas, Ultimo boss Mone asked fans on Twitter to support a Michelle Mone For Dragons' Den Campaign.
She then wrote on her Twitter page that she is hopeful she might be signed up as the second woman on the panel, following Deborah Meaden.

Mone tweeted: 'Thanks for all your messages and support, I'm blown away!
'If I commit to something my heart has to be 100 per cent in it. Let's see if it's meant to be Mx'
Mone added on her Twitter page today: 'Been offered DD years ago but wasn't the right time and I don't commit to TV unless I can deliver for the right reasons.
'Now I would consider it and be flattered to be asked again, but I've already signed up for a big show so let's see what will happen. Thanks again for your support.'
Can she take the heat? Michelle would be joining the current dragons on the show
However, Mone's desire to be part of the judging panel, alongside Meade, Duncan Bannatyne, Peter Jones and Theo Paphitis, differs from her previous opinion of the show.
In an interview last year, Michelle had said: 'I am getting really bored with Dragons' Den. I won't be joining the show. I'm out.'
Pakistan-born self-made multi-millionaire Caan announced earlier this month he would be leaving the show.
His decision comes amid an ongoing row with Bannatyne, who has refused to speak a single word to him for the past nine months - and just two months after the controversial ‘babygate’ affair, in which he was filmed offering to buy a baby from a poverty-stricken family in his native country.
Although he insisted his offer was made with good intentions in the aftermath of the Pakistan floods, Caan, 50, was criticised for poor judgment, with many wondering whether it would impact on his presence on Dragons’ Den.
However, Caan insists the incident wasn't a factor in his decision to leave.
He said: 'My work and philanthropic interests mean I can’t devote the time required to the Den any longer.
'Dragons’ Den has been an integral and exciting part of my professional life, and I thank the show profusely for letting me be a part of it for so long.’
Caan is now said to be in talks with Sony to launch a version of the show in Pakistan, where he already works on various charitable projects.
