Scouse comic JOHN BISHOP kept to stereotype dealing with a drunken heckler at his gig in Portsmouth Guildhall.
The League Of Their Own star offered to fight him in the interval.
Comics usually sink hecklers with a verbal thrashing.
But good to see John offering to do things the old-school way.
A source said: "John was on great form and had the audience in stitches.
"But one bloke was giving him stick and, after some banter, John offered to settle the dispute once and for all.
"It was tongue-in-cheek but he managed to shut the heckler up."
John's Sunshine tour runs until June – but if you fancy having a pop at him, bring some heavies.
