The Manchester City striker has ordered a telescope to be positioned on the balcony of his £2million luxury penthouse in the city.
No doubt he'll be using the lookout, about 200ft off the ground, to check out the local talent, too.
A source said: "Mario relaxes at home by sitting on his balcony and looking into the night sky.
"He finds it peaceful and wants to learn about all the stars."
The Italian slept under the stars when he went on a camping holiday during his time at Inter Milan.
With his wages you'd expect him to splash out on a more lavish holiday this summer.
