Vernon Kay?s Bizarre Masters disaster

Reigning champ VERNON KAY had a howler.

All that triathlon training has clearly damaged his golfing powers.

The TV host was supposed to hand over the prestigious Matalan tartan blazer to the newly crowned champ at The Grove, Herts. But he was so proud of the priceless tux, he left it at home, leaving newly crowned winners IAN WRIGHT and LES FERDINAND with substitute tartan waistcoats instead.

The England legends rattled up an impressive team score and lifted the most prized silverware for their rammed trophy cabinets.

Sun columnist Wrighty said: "Having the second-best column behind Bizarre in The Sun is good enough but winning this is a personal highlight."

But visors off to HURTS frontman THEO HUTCHCRAFT, who came along just for the 19th-hole celebrations, and to PETER CROUCH for popping in for an orange juice.

Before Crouchy teed off, he said: "Abbey laughs at the length of my driver."

He's got a great personality to make up for it.
