The teen singer confesses she made a "bad decision" when she was caught on camera smoking a hallucinogenic legal high at her 18th birthday in November.
The video footage - which showed Miley giggling and babbling incoherently after puffing psychoactive plant Salvia - caused major controversy.
Anti-drugs campaigners condemned the singer for setting a bad example to her young fans, while her own father, BILLY RAY, admitted he was saddened by the footage and apologised to her followers for her behaviour.
But Miley has held her hands-up and admitted her error.
She said: "I'm not perfect... I made a mistake.
"I'm disappointed in myself for disappointing my fans."
